Healing Your Invisible Scars From Chronic Stress & Trauma Is The Key to Living Your Most Liberating Life…and It’s Literally At Your Fingertips

You’ve spent your life and career showing up for others during their worst moments. But when it comes to your own mental and emotional health, support can feel out of reach or like it’s not even an option. The fact of the matter is you can only help others to the extent that you help yourself. The fastest way to freedom is through your feelings. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or “Tapping” for short) offers First Responders a transformative, evidence-based way to release trauma, reduce stress, and feel like yourself again.

Do Any of These Feel Familiar?

  • You finish your shift and immediately reach for 3–4 (or more) drinks just to decompress.

  • You’re always on edge, burned out, or emotionally shut down.

  • You experience chronic pain and/or tension

  • You’re reliving calls through nightmares, flashbacks, or intrusive thoughts.

  • You struggle to connect with loved ones the way you used to.

  • You feel like you can’t be honest about how you're actually doing—because of stigma, fear, or job security.

You’ve been told to “suck it up and move on” – that if you can’t, you’re not cut out for the job. But these aren’t personal failings – they’re signs of unprocessed trauma. And they don’t have to run your life.

Healing Is Possible—And You Don’t Have to Do It Alone

After just a few EFT sessions, many clients report:

  • Better sleep and more restful nights

  • Noticeable relief from chronic pain and tension

  • Fewer flashbacks and emotional triggers

  • Improved relationships and communication

  • A (re)new(ed) sense of calm, clarity, self-acceptance, and compassion

  • Feeling more like themselves again (or even better!)

This work doesn’t just reduce or eliminate symptoms. It helps you reconnect—with yourself, your passion, your purpose -- and reclaim the life you’ve worked so hard to build.

Why I’m So Passionate About Helping First Responders

Hi, I’m Becky Kadel, founder of Frontline F1rst LLC. After more than a decade in HR working alongside Firefighters, Paramedics, Police Officers, and Dispatchers, I saw the toll your work takes—and how little true help and support was available for your mental health and well-being.

I got tired of trying to figure out how I could help within the limitations of my job title and those in higher authority. I saw the broken systems, the burnout, the silent suffering, and the gaps in care that only seemed to widen over time.

Now, as a certified Clinical EFT “Tapping” Practitioner (and the spouse of a military Veteran), I help First Responders like you find real, lasting relief—all in the safety of a private, confidential, and judgment-free zone.

— Police Officer, 15 years on the job

“I was skeptical at first, but Becky made me feel completely safe. I didn’t have to explain every detail—she just got it. After a few sessions, I noticed I wasn’t as reactive, I was sleeping better, and I could finally breathe again.”

— Firefighter & Father of 3

“This work is unlike anything I’ve done before. It’s not therapy—it’s something deeper. I actually feel the stress leaving my body.”

Common Questions and Concerns

You worked in HR so why should I trust you?

I get it. HR hasn’t always felt like a safe and supportive space—especially when it comes to your mental health and wellness. But my years in HR are a big reason why I do this now. I saw how many First Responders were silently struggling, and I hated not being able to help. So I got trained and certified in something that allows me to truly support you—without all the red tape and imposed limitations of others in authority. I’m not here to report or evaluate you, or bore you with a bunch of standard rules, regulations, processes, and protocols. I’m here to help you heal so that you can feel better and live your most fulfilling life.

Will insurance pay for it?

Insurance will not pay for it—yet. Unfortunately, EFT isn't widely covered by insurance or eligible for HSA/FSA, even though it’s shown powerful results. The good news? You’re investing directly in your mental and emotional health and wellness (and it often leads to improvements in physical health as well)—without needing a diagnosis, referral, or paperwork trail. Many find EFT more effective and efficient than what’s traditionally covered.

I don’t do feelings and emotions.

Totally understandable—you were trained to always keep it together. But the truth is, feelings and emotions don't disappear just because you ignore them. They lay dormant until something happens to trigger them again...and the more you try to ignore them, the more they accumulate and run roughshod over your life. EFT is a private, practical, evidence-based way to deal with what’s under the surface in a way that leads to lasting, often permanent resolution. It helps release the pressure valve, so you stay sharp, steady, and in control.

That’s too unconventional or “woo-woo.”

I used to think that too. EFT might seem unusual at first, but it’s supported by over 100 peer-reviewed studies and growing recognition in the mental health and trauma recovery fields. More and more First Responders are turning to it because it works—plain and simple. You don’t have to believe in it for it to be effective; you just have to try it.

I (will) feel/look stupid or silly.

Yep—EFT can feel and look weird at first. You're tapping on your face and body, and it’s not something you’re used to. But you’re not alone—I guide you through the process step by step. Most people forget how it looks once they start feeling the relief. And hey, if something this simple can lead to profound relief, isn’t it worth the initial discomfort?

What if I don’t want (or am not ready) to talk about my trauma?

You don’t have to. EFT actually works without having to tell your story out loud if you don’t want to. We can focus on how your body and mind are reacting in the present—no need to dig into the details unless and until you’re ready. You’re always in control of what’s shared. You always decide the pace of your healing.

How is EFT different from traditional talk therapy?

EFT is hands-on. It combines elements of ancient Chinese medicine (acupuncture) with modern psychology. It involves tapping on specific acupressure points on your face and body while talking about someone or something that is distressing. This powerful combination allows you to access your subconscious mind where the source of your triggers reside. Just talking about it - like in a typical traditional talk therapy session - is not enough. Worse, it can re-traumatize you by making you repeatedly relive the trauma without ever getting to the root of it. EFT gets to the root; it excavates and dislodges it, leading to long-term, often permanent resolution.

How will this affect my job?

Sessions with me are private, confidential, and completely outside your employer’s systems. Nothing is reported. No one—not your department, supervisor, coworkers, or otherwise—will know you're doing it unless you choose to share. And what can change? Your stress level, your sleep, your patience, your ability to cope, and more. You might even find that you’re performing better, feeling more in control, and enjoying your life and job again. But that’s your business—not theirs.
